Important results from the project
The project aimed at developing norm critical educational content for initiating sexual or romantic relations: Partly in order to offer alternatives to the manipulative sexism that permeates most »pick up guides« currently on the market; and partly to design content aimed at other target groups than heterosexual males. As a pilot study, the project was focused at contact initiation in a lesbian context and aimed at developing innovative educational content for that group.
Expected long term effects
The project resulted in four seminal educational concepts, focusing on contact initiation in a lesbian context, that holds the potential for commercial development. The most significant result from the innovation process was the development of a general methodology for knowledge transfer from, in and among minorities/sub cultures - containing applications for many other areas of knowledge and other target audiences.
Approach and implementation
The design process used has been iterative and operating in close association with the target audience. We worked in workshops, where our participants where individuals identifying as lesbian and as bisexuals. Both cis and trans identities where represented.
