Purpose and goal

Tested-SOS aims to significantly improve operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and increase safety standards. This will ultimately drive productivity and sustainability at off-road sites, enabling new business models and integrated transport solutions powered by digital platforms. Through real-world validation ensure that the developed technologies and services deliver practical, scalable solutions for future mobility and operational challenges in the mining, quarry and construction sectors.

Expected effects and result

Focus is on implementing and testing a digital infrastructure that integrates various innovative services into a unified, scalable digital platform. This platform will bring together key services such as predictive maintenance, real-time monitoring, automation, sustainability and safety management for off-road industry operations. The aim is to overcome the current challenges of siloed data streams and fragmented systems, enabling real-time decision-making, productivity optimization, and safet.

Planned approach and implementation

To validate the Integrated Modeling and Simulation Platform’s impact in a real setting, this project partners with one of the leading construction companies in the Nordics for a pilot implementation at a designated site. This collaboration goes beyond simply deploying the tool. The objective is to assess the platform´s capability to predict how design and operational changes directly affect value creation for the operation.
