Testbox

Important results from the project

Testbox has in collaboration with women with service ideas/businesses in Northeast Gothenburg etc., researched and developed a basis which confirms the need of a testing ground that, focus on service business, connects business development with real tests. The target group will be able to focus on customer validation, development and tests of sustainable, value creating business ideas and models before they start. The project has produced process and structure proposals to realise and develop Testbox as a valuable way towards an inclusive and equal society and testing ground.

Expected long term effects

The project found through interaction with women and their service ideas/business, that the group face obstacles that complicate or make impossible to develop their dreams/ideas into value enhancing and sustainable companies. The project created strategies to demolish the obstacles, individual adaptation; outreach activities, safe spaces, physical/digital, connected to a strong local and contextual anchoring - Nodes. Every cleared obstacle prepares for inclusion, gender equality, value enhancing and higher degree of innovation, and contributes to societal challenges.

Approach and implementation

Testbox has not been able to meet physically, the effect of the pandemic has had a great impact on the target group, which has affected the project structure, implementation and result. Many of the women in Gothenburg Northeast appear in a home environment with digital unfamiliarity. The project tested different ways to target the group. Due to the pandemic the project had to meet digitally with the purpose of removing obstacles.The project has succeeded in anchoring and validating both needs and process and structure for further work.
