Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The Swedish Hydrogen Development Centre, SHDC, has brought together actors in industrial hydrogen in the way forward. By developing a test bed environment and arranging seminars and workshops on issues that are important to the development of industrial hydrogen. Through this, SHDC has driven knowledge dissemination and innovation in the area and initiated several research projects. SHDC today has a new organizational model and will continue to bring together industry research and authorities in the development of hydrogen.

Expected long term effects

In collaboration with SHDC, Swerim and RISE have developed test bed environments for hydrogen. The main contribution that SHDC has delivered, and thus to the transformation of the industry, are knowledge-raising workshops that have for the development and innovation work going forward. SHDC has gathered and integrated different parts of the value chain Several project have been initiated based on SHDC, including the very attention-grabbing project H2ESIN which gathered 27 actors around the significant issue of hydrogen infrastructure in northern Sweden and Finland.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The SHDC has shown that there is a clear need for an independent forum, separate from trade associations, that addresses issues critical to development with a fact-based starting point. SHDC has further shown the need to connect different parts of the value chains and to analyze and understand the different perspectives.
