Project duration December 2016 - April 2017
Status Completed
Venture The strategic innovation programme for Production2030

Important results from the project

The project aim was to develop a test method at County Hospital that can measure the radiation according to standard. By an iterative process a method has been developed that can measure radiation protective material. The development of the method has contributed to a faster product development of a new innovative radiation protective material towards CE-marking.

Expected long term effects

10MD has performed several tests at Halmstad Hospital of great importance for the product development. The nearby test environment has contributed to that newly produced material could be tested several times during a short period of time. The radiation protective material has been improved and we have a material that fulfil standard.

Approach and implementation

Initially we discussed the standard to enable a great testing method. 10MD have visit Halmstad Hospital several times. A continuous dialog with the medical physics has been of great importance even the time in between, to discuss the result further. The knowledge from the project was presented and discussed during a workshop.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
