Important results from the project
TE011 is a technical platform developed by teenage engineering to provide a communication layer between wireless units that share a common and synchronised view of the world around them. The primary use case is within sound creation but the technology is portable to other areas that benefit from stable, power efficient and instant interaction between multiple units and users.
Expected long term effects
By simplifying the development of products with capabilities to collaborate and function together we can bring benefits to the customer on a significantly shorter development cycle.
Approach and implementation
The current implementation of the platform is based on BLE as a radio protocol and MIDI as transport protocol. There is no restrictions to change on any layer in the to be changed to e.g. WiFi or wired transmission like USB.
