Call Advanced and innovative digitalization 2024 - first call for proposals

Purpose and goal

Innovate knowledge and easy-to-use, end-to-end, generative AI technology for efficient testing via graphical user interfaces that enable human-machine symbiosis in the software industry.

Expected effects and result

The project aims to create new knowledge and technology for testing software via graphical interfaces. In particular, knowledge and technology are expected for: - Integration of generative AI in software products (AI models, AI agents, etc.) - The creation of easy-to-use interfaces between humans and generative AI (Design, interaction methods, etc.) - Oracles for tests created by generative AI (Data usage, Reinforcement learning, etc.) - Application and value creation of generative AI for testing in the software industry (Equality perspectives, non-functional testing, etc.)

Planned approach and implementation

The project is carried out in collaboration between industry and academia where knowledge and technology are developed incrementally to maximize industrial benefits. This is achieved in four, primary, work packages (WP): WP1: Innovation/integration of generative AI for testing via graphical user interfaces WP2: Innovation/realization of easy-to-use human-machine interfaces WP3: Empirical evaluation of technical solutions WP4: Commercialization of project results The results will be disseminated via research articles, electronic material, events and workshop shops.
