Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project aims to demonstrate new governance models to gather power and accelerate climate change in cities. The result is described in the attached report. The ambition is to contribute to systematic learning and policy development within authorities, cities, companies, academia and civil society and show how new practice for system innovation within sustainable urban development has gradually grown and matured and how these experiences can contribute to speeding up the transition in climate and durability.
Expected long term effects
A report in itself does not reduce climate impact - the work remains to be carried out - by various actors. In order to anchor the report´s conclusions and facilitate implementation, actors with the power to drive climate change work: municipalities, authorities, companies and organizations, etc., have been invited to thematic workshops to contribute with knowledge and input. The report has also been sent for referral to these. The expected effect is that the report´s conclusions and recommendations will be a support for these in the work ahead and can inspire new forms of governance.
