Purpose and goal

The overall aim of the project is to contribute to the competitiveness of Swedish companies by introducing solutions for traceability in general and digital product passports in particular. The project is a continuation of the ongoing collaboration within the Trace4Value project, traceability for sustainable value chains. The goal is to establish a national competence platform in collaboration with similar initiatives, nationally and internationally. The project welcomes additional partners.

Expected effects and result

The objective is to establish a trustworthy platform supporting Swedish industry with the latest knowledge about traceability, DPP, related legislation, standards, systems etc., with the aim to facilitate the transition to digitalization and seamless transfer of information in the interoperable value chain. On an overall level, the project is expected to contribute to increasing competitiveness of Swedish companies by benefiting from traceability of materials and products.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is open and welcomes additional partners during the course of the project. Project meetings primarily take place digitally and are open to participants also outside the project who want to learn more about traceability and digital product passports. At the start of the project, the work is organized into five work packages and three demonstrators to visualize traceability in practice.
