Important results from the project

The project is intended to support the implementation of the international scientific conference Swedish Production Symposium 2014 that would showcase Swedish production research and create a platform for dissemination of information about SIP Production (Production 2030). The Conference was successfully carried out in Gothenburg 16 to 18 September 2014. The documentation of the conference was done through proceedings, which were published on-line and with ´open access´. In addition, video documentation of keynote speakers and other key participants was done and published.

Expected long term effects

The participants at the conference have expressed their satisfaction with the conference. The video-documentation has been spread through social media and web pages. Approach and implementation

The conference was performed through a combination of keynote-lectures and parallel presentations. The conference theme were the key research and innovation areas within the strategic innovation programme Produktion2030: *Resource efficient and sustainable production *Flexible manufacturing processes and systems *Virtual production development and simulation *Human-centred production systems *Product and production services *Integrated product and production development *Education in manufacturing, on all levels This was a succesful way to execute the conference.
