Important results from the project

The pre-study project has delivered a proposal on how to develop Sweden on the Go as a service to help companies find the right expertise to expand globally and do more international business. Sweden on the Go is today a digital portal which connects companies wishing to expand internationally with qualified expertise and consultants who have the experience to assist them. The portal is open for all to search for international expertise and consultants. To post your international company´s expertise on SweGo you need to qualify and have a proven track record.

Expected long term effects

In the pre-study a needs assessment is made with the customers, international consultants and business organisations on SweGo´s services. A proposal is made on how the service should be developed in order to meet customer demand. The prestudy also includes a proposed business model for the service and how to tie in partners to supporting Sweden on the Go.

Approach and implementation

We have interviewed companies, international consultants, business organisations and other stakeholders in trade and investment promotion, and from this made an assessment of how to develop SweGo further. Through these interviews we have concluded that there is a need for a complementory service to the governments trade and investment promotion which can meet the needs of the Swedish business community. We have used the business canvas model to develop the business model and a simple demand and supply model for the services between the buyer and seller.
