Purpose and goal

-Contribute to a sustainable transition, sustainable societies and sustainable mobility. -Increase each country´s innovation capacity -Attract Swedish actors to the Israeli innovation ecosystem and vice versa -Identify synergies between the individuals and the organizations -Build a base for exploration of collaborations, learning, commercialization, knowledge exchange -Explore each country´s support system and find strengths and weaknesses where you can help each other -Create concrete initiatives, collaborations and results between key players in the ecosystems

Expected effects and result

- Strengthened collaborations between intermediaries in the countries´ innovation ecosystems - Strengthened knowledge of each country´s ecosystem. - Strengthened network in each country´s ecosystem - Create conditions for the Swedish innovation ecosystem to establish deepened international relationships for long-term cooperation, which in the long run also benefits the companies in each country´s ecosystem. - Strengthened interest in Sweden as a country of innovation by attracting future visitors to Sweden.

Planned approach and implementation

Sweden Israel Innovation Days (SIID) collaborates organizationally with leading actors in Israel regarding innovation in the tech scene, likewise in Sweden. SISP/Ignite Sweden leads the collaboration and works actively to build the SIID platform in the long term. The invited delegation consists of large companies, incubators, investors and startups/Scaleups with a programme of three days and an additional day which is optional. The work continues operationally with work meetings every two weeks from building the SIID to following up the effect after the trip.
