Sustainable innovation mileues - roadmap for the integration of a norm critical perspective

Important results from the project

In collaboration with the test companies (to be included in a ´labb´) and VINNVÄXT milieus, we´ve created good conditions for development of the necessary processes and methods for working with social sustainability from a norm-critical perspective in innovation milieus. By interdisciplinary collaboration with KTH , HiG , LTU and LU we have a good scientific base, based on expertise within sustainability, innovation, gender and organization. In consultation with these, we´ve selected a set of tools that are adapted to the needs identified in the pre study.

Expected long term effects

The results of the pre study is the statistical result for FOVs innovation mileu work with social sustainability. In short , we got the following results: Goals for gender equality : 50% of organizations have this. Strategies for gender equality: 19% of the org. Goals for diversity : 13 % of the org . Strategies for diversity : 12% of the org . Furthermore , we have established contact with other VINNVÄXT-mileus that request a roadmap and we have collaboration with universities with whom we develop tools. The effect of this is that we now have good conditions for implementing the project .

Approach and implementation

The pre study has been made by a combination of different methods : *Research and benchmarking of existing research and practice in the area of sustainability. *Mapping of member companies´ social sustainability work through in-depth interviews. Analysis of the results . *Workshops: 1) One with HR managers in order to deepen the mapping. 2) A learning opportunity directed to all participants in the pre study. *Developed framework for a roadmap by specifying the implementation of a project. This in collaboration with the researchers, test companies and other VINNVÄXT milieus.
