Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project´s result is a comprehensive funding where a new methodology uses sustainability indicators not only as an evaluation tool but also to guide the design towards the most sustainable solutions. The design methodology has been developed in aim to implement state-of-the-art methods for optimization against many criteria and sustainability assessment and to make it a useful and practical practice for the industry.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Collaborative relationships have been consolidated between companies, universities and the public authority. The competence of all parties has been raised, especially in the interdisciplinary layer to understand each other´s challenges, aim and needs towards the common goal. In the longer term, through the implementation of industry partners, the work of establishing and disseminating the prototype and knowledge in their organization continues. This paves the way for good management and refinement of the project´s results

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has been carried out as an interdisciplinar research project. The backbone has been a gender-balanced research team consisting of a doctoral student, a post-doc and 2 senior researchers, as well as an active reference group. During the project, two international exchanges have been carried out with the primary purpose of obtaining specific knowledge and reconciling research results in an international environment. An important part of the implementation has been student dissertations in industrial and government environments.
