Important results from the project

Susindi made concrete contributions to support small and medium-sized companies in the gaming industry on climate issues, both through good examples but not least through the guide and calculator for calculating scope 3 CO-2 emissions, showing hands-on how you can work to reduce your emissions and become more resource efficient. The handbook´s sections on policy and the use of games as a tool for a broader climate transition discussion are also important results.

Expected long term effects

The project will be a basis for the industry´s continued work on climate transition issues and can also form the basis for future adaptations of climate issues, for example through how IP is handled in a climate context. The project will also become a standard for how the Swedish industry can work with emissions and climate issues. In the long term, the goal is that Susindi and future follow-up projects will lead to a more resource efficient society and a more active and shared dialogue.

Approach and implementation

The approach was structured and followed the WPs in the proposal with systematic follow-ups. Deliveries were kept on schedule and the project was able to achieve its objective in good time without delays. The project began with a survey of the companies´ needs and calculations for the calculator. Once this had begun, work was initiated on policy and best-practice for the manual. When the calculator was ready, it was tested and the guide was completed for translation and printing.
