Important results from the project
The purpose during the project period has been to attract and produce high-quality companies through SU Incubator´s business program. Oou of 6 companies that have undergone the buisness program, 4 of them have received investment capital from SU Holding and all have increased their turnover after exit from the incubator.
Expected long term effects
SU Incubator´s goal has been to generate new innovative and future-oriented companies from Stockholm university. The biggest challenges for SU Incubator the previous financial year has been to create the high-quality business cases with a high survival rate after the incubator program. During the project period, 6 incubator companies participated in SU incubator´s business program. Of those 6, 4 have been based on innovations from research results and 2 of them based on students´ ideas. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, all of them have survived.
Approach and implementation
The aim has been to strengthen the offer for entrepreneurs in the incubator by expanding the offer with a larger number of workshops, investment events, seminars and to act actively in relevant networks and through the exchange of knowledge with other incubators. SU Incubator has undergone peer reviews through SISP and participated in all ERFA meetings arranged by SISP, which has strengthened both efforts and quality in the incubator program.
