Venture Innovations for a sustainable mobility system - individual applications

Important results from the project

Based on insights from the first phase, a survey of “What” future initiatives and “How” these are to be implemented was carried out. The goal is to meet the need in Sweden for interconnection with Silicon Valley (SV). Interviews with actors in Sweden show that everyone realizes that trends for new mobility are set in SV. The interest in financing a basic effort is small from other actors. The report proposes that VINNOVA continues with representation in SV and extend the bridge in Sweden, as well as means to change up the existing R & I project with the activities of SV and individual mobility.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** All interviewees realize that Silicon Valley sets trends in digitalisation and for new mobility. But there are only a few large companies and a few start-ups that really do something about the challenge to connect sig. This projects proposes that VINNOVA continues with representation in SV and extend the bridge in Sweden, as well as means to change up the existing R & I project with activities in SV and individual mobility.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Nearly 30 people have been interviewed in more than 20 organizations representing actors in public, private, academia and institutes. Very few people know about the ongoing project. The goal of improving the connection between Silicon Valley and the ecosystem in Sweden is extremely complex and requires very large resources to have effects. The conditions have been to find a reasonable effort for Vinnova.
