Important results from the project
The project - Strategies and Standards for Smart Swedish Industry - aims at strengthening Sweden´s position as a leading country in the area of Smart Industry. This will be done through enhanced engagement regarding standardisation. The project has two sub-goals: it will connect results from the Swedish innovation-and-digitalisation-projects, primarily within the strategic innovation programs PiiA and Production2030, with international ongoing ISO and IEC standardisation activities, and it will provide those projects with guidance and financial support. Six projects have been identified.
Expected long term effects
During this phase of the 4S project, interviews of a number of PiiA and Production2030 projects have been performed with the aim of identifying projects that are mature enough to initiate standardisation related work. Six projects have been identified. One of the identified projects has already participated in both national and international standardisation work.
Approach and implementation
During this phase of the 4S project, the work has been divided into five subsets. These have partly or fully been performed. A follow-up application has been submitted and been approved, in which another five subsets will be performed. The overall aim is to strengthen Sweden´s position as a leading county in the area of Smart industry.
