Important results from the project

Clarify what efforts, resources and infrastructures are required to meet societal challenges using welfare technology, and what is required to improve the opportunities to strengthen competitiveness and sustainable growth. Achieved a mobilization of actors within the area and created a joint strategy in the form of an innovation agenda, which also forms the basis for future efforts. Achieved through: Gathering of forces of approx. 100 Swedish actors Developed a strategic innovation agenda - joint action plan with proposals for efforts, resources and necessary infrastructure.

Expected long term effects

The agenda and the mobilization of actors have updated impact goals: - Welfare technology in care and social care to be used more than today, to increase quality and provide more efficient working methods and improved work environment - Elderly and individuals with functional impairments get a better quality of life - Swedish companies strengthen their competitiveness and increase growth. Sweden is positioned as a country that is at the forefront of developing and introducing welfare technology - The welfare sector´s resources are redistributed to be able to offer sustainable support

Approach and implementation

Implementation: 1 Market research and actor mapping 2 Dialogue and input from approx. 100 actors (mobilization) operating in the field of welfare technology: business, regions and municipalities, civil society and interest organisations, authorities and academia, through workshops, interviews, conversations, surveys and questionnaires 3 The innovation agenda is a analysis, synthesis and compilation of the participants´ insights, experiences and input. It is reinforced with additional information from relevant authority reports Great engagement with great breadth!
