Important results from the project
Purpose and goal for September-December 2013, with the bridging budget from Vinnova was to organize, lead and coordinate activities within the Strategic Innovation Progam Production. The goals have been achieved with one deviation: the activity Innovation in production is postponed to later in 2014.
Expected long term effects
Results in short during the period: Organizational structure in place. Program Office established. Rules of procedure established. Governance of the program established and communicated to stakeholders. Calls- and decision-making procedures have been established and communicated. Communication activities initiated, website designed. Eight research and innovation projects started. Estblishing expert groups started. Procedure for calls is cleared. Internal and external communication has started. The instruments education, SME and internationalization have started.
Approach and implementation
During the period, the program office´s resources consisted of 1.5 FTEs. Additional support was received from the collaboration partners Chalmers, KTH and Swerea IVF. This has been crucial in order to initiate the large number of activities and groups in the programme. During the period, all planned activities have been implemented.
