Important results from the project
The concept of working with strategic partners has been initiated and has been successful during the course of the project. It has also been broadened to more types of possible partners and also ways of collaborating – in the proposal our initial idea was to work primarily through partners´ channels but now we have identified that there is an interest among them to sell their products and services through our channels. With the right packaging we can strengthen each other in a much clearer way.
Expected long term effects
Primary effects expected: marketing/branding, focus on technical development and in business and sales. We see that our and strategic partner´s brands have potential to reinforce each other, which in turn has led to increased awareness and clearer positioning. With a stronger offer, the expectation is that it will result in a lower purchasing threshold and simpler sales processes. The partnerships gave a focus on our technical development and how we can deepen our collaborations in the future.
Approach and implementation
The work was initiated with identification, contact and iteration with potential strategic partners. A market strategy for each partnership for business, customer group and needs was developed. The focus was on joint process development with division of responsibilities and workflows. A plan for technical adaptations has been developed to meet identified needs. Together with one partner, we have tested the offer on the market and with another we are working towards launching soon.
