Important results from the project

StoryTourist is a new way to travel and experience books, movies and other stories on the location where the stories take place, it’s like Pokémon Go for stories! StoryTourist has conducted an investigation to verify the company´s B2B market and has achieved the project´s objective to attract new financiers, as well as lay the groundwork for international upscaling by identifying new intellectual property opportunities.

Expected long term effects

StoryTourist has acquired new venture capital and an extended network via industry connected investors, as well as new knowledge and new digital assets that has led to our strategies around StoryTourist’s B2B market being adjusted or verified. The new intellectual property opportunities were an unexpected effect, which will be further developed and could have great significance for the company´s future.

Approach and implementation

To achieve the project´s overall objective, we planned three different activities, each of which had its own sub-goals: an investigation of our B2B partners´ needs, development of the publishing platform MVP, and game and interaction design, on and between platform and app. During the course of the project, we have redistributed time and resources between the various activities to adapt to the project results as well as the Corona pandemic, which hit the tourism industry hard. However, we still managed to reach the overall project´s objective.
