Project duration | August 2014 - May 2018 |
Status | Completed |
Important results from the project
Use the urban agriculture area to highlight the interaction between innovation and standardization work. Enable actors to interact with and utilize standardization as an innovation tool. Objectives and goals were met in part. The formation of TK 592 and the work undertaken were in line with purpose and goals. As the work was laid to rest, the purpose and objectives were not given the opportunity to be fully fulfilled. The SIS initiative to try to reboot this project in the autumn of 2018 allows previous work to be taken care of and further developed in the area.
Expected long term effects
New / broader knowledge of how to use standardization as tools in innovation work. This was achieved in part. The participants in the TK 592 gained insight into how standardization can be used as an innovation tool, but not fully because of that the work was not completed. Opportunities are now possible to continue the project with a successful final conference and a planned start-up meeting 2 October 2018 with the goal of resuming and renewing the work.
Approach and implementation
The complexity of the layout regarding issues and stakeholders was underestimated. More work would have been devoted to defining focus areas at a previous stage and finding a wider foundation in business, organizations and academia.
