Important results from the project
This project has aimed to establish stronger contact and exchange with other incubators in Sweden, and through it develop both its own organization and also contribute to the development of other participating organizations. By collaborating with other incubators, we have been able to create a better value offer for entrepreneurs who can now take part in the common competence of collaborating actors. With the exchange of experience, we have been able to improve our incubator process, build an experience-informed accelerator process, and develop the business as a whole.
Expected long term effects
For SSE Business Lab, it was of particular interest to have an exchange of experience and a peer-review process for the development of a sophisticated measurement system in terms of the degree of maturity of companies. In a working group together with other incubators, we have contributed to the work for a common measurement system of the companies´ level of maturity and are well on our way to seeing the results. SSE Business Lab has also contributed with insights in areas where we excel, such as in private financing of the incubator and pro-bono involvement from individuals and companies.
Approach and implementation
SSE Business Lab has, through its CEO and business developer, participated in almost all experience exchange meetings during the period, as well as participated in the process of peer reviews with other incubators and two visits to the own organization by other incubators. In addition to the formal meetings, experience has been exchanged between CEOs and business developers in Facebook groups, via email and over meetings. The experience exchange meetings have acted as a starting point for creating good relationships, which has then led to more discussions outside this framework.
