Important results from the project
In this project, we have met the objective to bring the youth on to an innovation journey based on their thoughts and ideas. We did this by gradually identifying the needs of different audiences and create a new concept that was tested against the target groups. We have also developed a concept for learning through the integration of young adults in all the practical work and related other competencies in innovation and education. Through the project, we have developed the practices that can be used in a joint project between the entrepreneur and the school in a creative innovative work.
Expected long term effects
In a custom made innovation method with participating youngsters, we have identified the need for new services in the field of sound and music during exercise. Based on the identified needs, we have developed a new service (app). The service has been evaluated towards potential customers and partners. The needs and interests of the service is found within the relevant customer groups. Based on the work of the pilot project and the concept, prototype and collaborations that this resulted in, we now see the potential for a next step, the final develop, production and market introduction.
Approach and implementation
The project consists of four integrated steps. 1. Analysis of market needs, environment and solution. 2. Innovation Coaching and concept development - innovation plan and idea development. 3. Business and market - meetings with experts, business plan and packaging. 4. Development of demonstrator and sales materials. The customized process we selected has worked well. The regular working meetings in conjunction with field trips, meetings with experts, businesses and the young adults own work, we have as entrepreneurs along with the young adults been able to carry this work forward.
