Important results from the project
The goal: to "create a platform for innovation support in social innovation, as well as increase the innovation support system´s ability to stimulate, verify and develop social innovations and companies." is considered to be fulfilled. Many lessons have been learned during the project and most of them are the result of something as simple as communication. That has generated better insight into each other´s activities, has increased both the consensus and the knowledge about how we, together and individually, better can stimulate and develop entrepreneurs in Västerbotten.
Expected long term effects
Results: Entreprenerdy - digital business development model for social innovators Social Business Board - a forum for entrepreneurs to present ideas and get feedback Innovation Boot Camp - three-day idea workshop VFT funding - adaptation of the university´s model for verification funds for innovative ideas. Innovation team Climate-neutral Umeå - newly formed team for social innovation within the framework of the work with climate-neutral Umeå Effects: Greater interest - both in public and private sectors as well as in civic society - for social innovation and entrepreneurship.
Approach and implementation

Legitimizing through innovation lunches to all business and innovation promoters The work has been instructive but also complicated and has forced everyone to become more flexible and solution-oriented.
