Important results from the project
The purpose of the project was to implement the actions concluded in a prestudy to be the most crucial for Spontano´s growth. The two actions was to firstly increase the relevance in the service by making sure each user gets a tailored experience based on preferences, and adding a social layer to the buying process. Both parts of the project was executed according to plan and Spontano´s users now have a more engaging experience!
Expected long term effects
The expected results of the project was a higher retention for users and in the end higher conversion. Already now we see that users spend more time in the app and come back more often which we see as a token of success of the project.
Approach and implementation
The proejct was based on a prestudy that stated the need, so we could jump-start the project by defining the goal and requirements. Then, we mapped external and internal data sources and an infastructure to handle the data. Finally, the recommendations engine and social layer was constructed and iterated with internal and external testing.
