Important results from the project
The project aims to provide value to energy consumers and energy suppliers through better decision base for energy saving and more accurate invoicing. It is facilitated by better distribution in the ecosystem of 1) higher quality energy information, and 2) better analytical methods. Through a common open, secure architecture and platform for energy data and energy analysis, an ecosystem can be created. In this, participants can share improved analytical methods, better reporting and smarter alarms, such as changed energy consumption, energy losses, and incorrect measurement.
Expected long term effects
The result is a non-profit user association that develops and manages digital solutions to increase the ability to work with energy information in the energy system; Information exchange, aggregation and analysis of data for a smarter energy system. An open architecture and knowledge dissemination network increase the capabilities of analysis and digital information exchange. Quality assurance of measurement values and other information that is then analyzed and value-added helps not only companies in the industry, but also gives energy customers a significant added value.
Approach and implementation
The plan is to start small and then expand broader. This applies to both the Smarter Energy software platform and the user association / user associations. Based on an initially broader focus, the project has chosen to initially focus on heating and the border between distributor and energy prosumer who can have three different perspectives; Many buildings, a building with several homes / premises and a residence / premise. A roadmap has been defined for organization and sub-projects.
