Important results from the project
The goal was to carry out at least 10 sub-projects based on public challenges and to establish the region as a leading IoT region in the country and globally. The project has carried out more than twice as many sub-projects. In total, the project has created a large network of about 70 actors within IoT in the region and the region is one of the leading regions within IoT in the country but also globally in certain sub-areas.
Expected long term effects
The project has led to new services, products, working methods and jobs for several of the actors involved. The region has a strong and growing IoT industry and many new contacts and collaborations between actors have been created.
Approach and implementation
The project has been carried out with an agile project model that has not been tested before in this context. The model where they worked on looking at challenges on an ongoing basis and adjusted the budget and partners according to these to achieve the best results has been extremely successful in terms of the number of activities performed.
