The parties themselves have chosen areas for their activities. The work of the parties has taken place relatively autonomously. Knowledge sharing and reconciliations have taken place on basis of public parties where Umeå Kommun and Umeå Universitet have led wokshops and gatherings. Elsys has provided necessary basic Infrastructure and technology competence and Umeå University has facilitated broader educational initiatives in the subjects Communication Technology and Data Analysis. The involvement of the business has been prioritized through active participation.
