Important results from the project
The purpose of the project was to build a strong business case to attract private equity, which we have achieved.
Expected long term effects
Melaud has reached the final phase of product development and has established relationships with key stakeholders. The price money from Vinn Nu meant that we could develop the company as planned, but it has also been an assurer for other financiers, which has generated even more capital to the Melaud.
Approach and implementation
The patent and design patent applications have been submitted. The collaboration with Melaud´s commercialization partner has been initiated, which means that we are currently formulating a sales strategy and identifiying potential buyers of our IP. The product development has taken more time than initially anticipated, but we are currently not facing any difficult obstacles. Due to the new business strategy, we will not set up any production on our own.
