Purpose and goal
The project aims to develop a unique simulation and path planning tool for plasma activation based on physical experiments and with the help of digital twins to become part of the next generation of advanced and secure digital solutions. This will contribute to increased competitiveness for Swedish industry and strengthen the competence and implementation ability.
Expected effects and result
The idea of the project is to develop a unique and digital platform for production with plasma treatment before bonding and painting. This with a system to systems solution for high quality parts, that will include a plasma simulation and path planning tool. The system will enable optimized support from choice of plasma concept, during implementation, in the user phase as well as when introducing new components. It will complement already existing software for e.g bonding and painting processes.
Planned approach and implementation
The project is divided into four technical work packages. The work includes development of models and software, algorithms for optimization, data from technical trials, model validation and implementation study. The fifth work package includes project management and dissemination activities.
