Important results from the project
The purpose of SICAHTs preparation project was to get 1-3 needs owners within healthcare industry to want to attend a meeting process with entrepreneurs and companies with the goal of developing digital innovations. The purpose was also to get at least three companies to participate in the same project. We managed to get two needs owners, two divisions in Landstinget Blekinge. Five ICT companies in Blekinge has been recruited to the project.
Expected long term effects
We had expected to get at least one needs owners. We got two, which was better than expected. We had also hoped to recruit three companies in the ICT sector. We got five.
Approach and implementation
We added quite a lot of focus on finding the right need owners in the beginning. We used our network to identify need owners in both the public and private sectors. The criterias we used was that the area would have a potential for digital solutions and the management of the department / management / company would be development-oriented. When we had a few names, we took a phone contact and booked meeting if interest in the project existed. We were successful in two of the three prospective areas. The third is a privately held health company which want to participate at a later stage.
