ShiftSweden Pool of experts

Purpose and goal

This strategic project is about setting up an expert pool that will contribute to ShiftSweden´s system perspective, transformative approach and reflection and learning. The Expert Pool includes a core team of experienced professors with deep knowledge on sustainable mobility, gender perspectives, justice, circularity, transformative system innovation and policy and planning linked to the shifts that are the focus of ShiftSweden, and a larger pool of experts who be be recruited during 2025.

Expected effects and result

The main results are about: • Synthesizing and overview of results; • Quality assurance of the program´s theory of change, orientation and working methods; • Strengthened connection to other related initiatives nationally and internationally; • Support and inspiration for the program management as well as individual researchers/project parties, for instance regarding the wider learning outcomes from the program´s activities and projects.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is organized in four work packages (WP): WP1) Starting up of the expert pool (core group and larger expert pool). Time period: 1/12 2024-31/12 2025. WP2) Continuous input från critical friends (the work of the core group and the expert pool with strategic input and knowledge support). Time period: 1/12 2025-31/12 2026. WP3) Mid-term evaluation of the expert pool function. Time period: 1/6 2026-31/10 2026. WP4) Evaluation and feedback of insights. Time period: 1/6 2026-31/12 2026.
