Important results from the project
The purpose of the SEVS2 project is to strengthen the Swedish automotive industries ability to analyse and address complex societal and technological challenges related to the transition to a sustainable mobility and transport system by 2030+.
Expected long term effects
The SEVS project has increased capacity for strategic analysis of complex systems in the transport system, by creating a driving force model, four scenarios and provided general insights and specific results regarding mechanism shaping the future transport system.
Approach and implementation
The SEVS2 project has by co-operation over organisational boarders, developed a strategic analysis methodology explaining the key driving forces and how they influence future road transport. The driving force model and uses cases have been used, together with the scenarios developed in SEVS1, to analyze a future city road transport system where electromobility is one of the main solutions for personal and goods transport. The analysis has analyzed system consequences of electromobility and what is required for an effective transformation from today´s transport system.
