Important results from the project
The aim was to offer a number of small food producers, so-called ´Micro producers´ opportunities to develop their business with new knowledge, new contacts, new ideas and more inspiration. Service in various forms was the watchword to build, maintain and develop good and long-term customer relationships for micro producers. Much of this project was able to live up to, and could also be verified through the questionnaires that the participants had to answer. To sensitize the service concept was inspiring for many of the participants
Expected long term effects
The project was able to collect 15 Swedish micro-producers, who got the opportunity to share experiences with both Swedish and Danish colleagues. Much of the opportunities that the project would stimulate were revealed by the comments that came from the participants during the final workshop. Just the idea that market themselves through well adapted service to the customer became more obvious to participants. Several participants planned for new exchanges and visits between Swedish and Danish producers. To sell each other´s food products became a possible development potential.
Approach and implementation
The project was implemented together with AgroTech, Denmark in a very similar way in each country. This is to help identify the differences and similarities between countries as well as to get a better foundation for future collaborations. The design was based on study trips to each country as well as workshops with guest speakers. Participants also got to work with an adequate Canvas model based on a Danish micro-enterprises business. The number of participating micro producers were 15 pieces, which proved to be quite optimal for practical implementation.
