Important results from the project
The purpose of the exchange program was to validate and refine previously proposed non-technical strategies for scaling up the use of advanced analytics. The main goal of the project was to develop models, processes, and best practices for how advanced analytics can be scaled up within an organization. The project has delivered a scale-up process, non-technical strategies, and a model for how the maturity of data-driven culture can be assessed in a group.
Expected long term effects
The expected effects were that it will be easier for organizations to scale up their use of advanced analytics after pilot projects are completed. The exchange program has delivered results in the form of a scale-up process, model for non-technical strategies, and a model for how the maturity level of data-driven culture in a group can be assessed. With the help of these tools, it will now be easier for organizations to scale up their use of advanced analytics after the completion of pilot projects.
Approach and implementation
Together with Capgemini Insights & Data Sweden, four suitable organizations were selected for case studies. Data was collected via interviews, document studies, and network discussions. The selected four organizations represented different industries, size, and maturity level of use of advanced data analysis. The analysis of collected data confirmed the previously proposed non-technical strategies to scale up the use of advanced analytics. The reference group at Capgemini Insights & Data Sweden has continuously followed and participated in the project.
