Important results from the project

Validated the performance of the photonic technology for quantum computing with a potential user in the commercial value chain. 3. Established a new commercial partnership through joint ventures.

Expected long term effects

1.Iloomina has developed a software-based design rule check and adapted the designs of basic components to industrial software. 2.The validation of the technology for quantum nanophotonics has been done in close collaboration with an end-user. We expect a full detailed characterization of the quantum performance by summer 2024. 3.The business plan and market uptake has been redefined.

Approach and implementation

The core aim of this proposal has been to perform a series of experimental tests to validate the performance of Iloomina’s technology in close cooperation with an end-user. Iloomina has focused on prototyping and the development of the core nanophotonics technology, the end-user has provided the designs and validation; and R-Innovation as key consultancy firm that has coordinated the go-to-market efforts.
