Important results from the project
The project has resulted in a basis for decision regarding future optical sensor products for the safety of elderly people. Some new applications have been identified and technical demonstrations have been performed.
Expected long term effects
In the project we have developed a number of new concepts for products targeted on elderly care. By several contacts with the market, we now better understand of how to commercialize a product. For Fotonic the project results in new opportunities find partners and to in the future market new products for the health care market.
Approach and implementation
The two main parts of the project has been to develop technical demonstrations and to interact with the market. This has been an iterative process where the first videos that were created have been used in discussions to create new ideas.
