Purpose and goal
The project aims to improve the transfer of information and reduce the communication gap between planners and implementers in the infrastructure, construction, and civil engineering sectors. The project goal is to develop working methods and digital support to plan and implement circular mass management within municipal infrastructure projects. The project addresses the need for increased coordination and efficiency in the development and implementation of infrastructure projects.
Expected effects and result
The project is expected to result in strengthened municipal processes for the transfer and feedback of mass management information between project phases, as well as standardization and digital adaptation of mass management terminology. This is expected to create greater opportunities for learning and for mass management coordination between project and across planning and implementation phases, and as a result reduced climate impact and costs in municipal infrastructure projects.
Planned approach and implementation
The project is carried out in collaboration between Ecoloop, Collecct, and Örebro and Västerås municipalities, as well as a reference group consisting of representatives from municipal development offices.
The project will develop a common digital language for circular rock and soil management, working methods in municipal organizations that promote cooperation across the planning gap, and based on these results further develop tools for forecasting and follow-up of rock and soil management.
