Purpose and goal

To create a precision medicine innovation environment that transforms the management of immune-mediated rheumatic diseases from today’s too late and too imprecise diagnosis and lifelong treatment into earlier diagnosis, curative therapies and prevention.

Expected effects and result

Fewer and healthier patients, and a competitive Swedish arena enabling our solutions to be used and commercialized also in the rest of the world.

Planned approach and implementation

Collaboration between the private sector, academia, health-care and patients. Precision-diagnostics building on improved understanding of the underlying immune reactions in immune-mediated rheumatic diseases. Integration of this precision-diagnostics into our quality register and digital support system. Use of these new diagnostics and register infrastructure to test and implement new diagnostics and precision therapy. Leverage learnings from our ongoing Vinnova environment.
