Call | Impact Innovation: Collaboration for Sustainable water for all - a Water Wise Societies programme intervention 2024 |
Purpose and goal
By uniting stakeholders from various segments of the water value chain, the project aims to use a systems approach to identify changes with the greatest societal impact. Each stakeholder will share their perspective on transitioning to more resource-efficient water use. Through collaboration and joint activities, a shared vision can be developed, and a follow-up project can be designed, focusing on the activities that the group collectively determines will have the greatest impact.
Expected effects and result
The project is expected to result in a report that outlines and justifies follow-up projects based on the stakeholder group´s analysis of the societal challenge and the shared vision developed using foresight methodology. The project aims to enhance understanding of the challenges and opportunities related to the societal issue and strengthen collaboration among stakeholders, contributing to more effective and coordinated efforts for resource-efficient water use.
Planned approach and implementation
The project is organized into four work packages: WP1) Project Management to ensure effective implementation. WP2) Stakeholder Collaboration - Stakeholders are engaged and the soietal challenged is analyzed through litterture studies and workshop. WP3) Vision through foresight - A workshop using foresight methodology is conducted and results are analyzed. WP4) Formulation of follow-up projects - The vision and roadmap are analyzed during a workshop and the work is compiled into a final report.
