Important results from the project
The feasibility study and fact-finding about the potential and technical feasibility with a new floor heating product have been performed in good correlation to the objectives set for the study.
Expected long term effects
A prototype have been made and tested. The product have been testsed by heat-flow calculations. Fact-finding have been performed in various fields of interest for the product development. The result from the study shows and demonstrates the conceptual feasibility of the new product. The property of the product in terms of energy efficiency and functionality gives idea how to improve energy saving especially in buildings with low-frequent use. The study give the outline of future work for the product development as well as for further R&D about the new heating concept.
Approach and implementation
The study have been performed together with ACREO AB - specialist in thin film/printed electronics technology and other specialists in different fields
