Important results from the project
SenionLab have in 2015 seen an increased interest in their product indoor positioning in production and warehouses. The aim is to streamline the flow and work processes, partly by analyzing the movement of people and equipment and partly by in real time improve the ability to find people and equipment quickly. During the conference we met with partners and funders, and we do now have a dialogue with them to jointly adapt our existing products to work better in an industrial application.
Expected long term effects
Our customers expect to a greater extent that we can deliver a solution that meets the need to follow and navigate people (our existing product), and find and keep track of equipment and forklifts. The latter expectation requires new development, and it is best done with a partner or customer. During the conference we met with potential partners and we are now evaluating together the feasibility of developing a joint offering.
Approach and implementation
The company has participated in Innovative Smart Factory Networking Conference 2015 in Switzerland, with the aim of finding customers, partners and funders to adapt its existing products to work better in an industrial application. During the conference several contacts were established and the arrangement with one-to-one matchmaking meetings was very successful.
