Important results from the project

The objective of the project was to establish collaboration in research as well as education between the Department of Applied IT at the University of Gothenburg and Federal University of Campina Grande. During the course of the project, collaboration in both fields has been initiated through, among other things, joint research publications and dialogue regarding educational collaboration between both parties.

Expected long term effects

The expected results and effects of the project are an established collaboration between both project parties. Currently, the collaboration has resulted in several research publications within the framework of the project´s theme. Furthermore, dialogue and planning regarding educational cooperation between both parties is ongoing. Other effects include planning of joint research projects in AI and AI-related topics.

Approach and implementation

The project was mainly carried out within the framework of a three-month stay where an AI researcher from Federal University of Campina Grande was integrated into the research and educational environment at the Department of Applied IT at the University of Gothenburg. The arrangement helped to establish close collaboration between the project´s participants, both the incoming visitor and those on site. The close collaboration during the three months of the stay has led to continued joint collaboration even after the guest stay.
