Purpose and goal

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The purpose of the planning project is to develop the project idea based on the current status in FUTURE as well as identified Swedish innovation opportunities, expand an existing consortium with a couple more relevant partners and formulate a proposal for HORIZON-ER-JU-2024- 02 Flagship Project 6: FUTURE - Delivering innovative rail services to revitalize capillary lines and regional rail services - second wave 2024.

Expected effects and result

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** FUTURE is in line with InfraSweden´s mission to support sustainable development of the transport infrastructure system. The project proposal is of high relevance for EU-rail. With the help of the planning project, we can involve additional parties, develop the project idea and complete proposal. We want to direct the work in FUTURE towards efforts and development that are favorable for Swedish infrastructure. The knowledge and technical solutions that can then be applied to railways in other countries, which increases Swedish competitiveness.

Planned approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The following activities are included: Information exchange with actors where similar project have been carried out, Determination of the consortium for new proposal, planning meetings with the consortium as well as concrete application work. Participating are Linköping University (LiU), VTI and Norges Tekniska and Naturvetenskapliga Universitet (NTNU).
