Important results from the project

The goal for this project was to achieve a sufficiently high sales volume to enable us to full-time employ one customer service employee. This goal was achieved in August. We managed to increase B2C sales to the targeted levels and we managed to sell to B2B customers who want to use our service.

Expected long term effects

B2C: The project ended with sales of 160+ customers in August alone - through our E-commerce. All orders is transported by mail order, where the goods are shipped from the customer directly to our subcontractors (tailors / shoemakers) without the need for us to be in contact with the product. B2B: We investigated the market for repair in several different types of industries, ranging from the construction- to the fashion industry. The outcome is that we now cooperate with five major fashion companies, helping them reuse what has previously been seen as waste, such as production failures.

Approach and implementation

It´s difficult to automate a new type of service while keeping costs down. We managed to do so by connecting external partners, such as companies that only work with digital automating integrations, our administrative workload has decreased significantly. Throughout the project, simplification of communication between customers and subcontractors has been a huge focus area, where language barriers have been both an obstacle and a great opportunity. When we reduce the use of text communication and instead use visuals our business more scalable for other countries and languages.
