Important results from the project
Region 2050 is a major initiative from the Swedish regions; 24 organisations and several hundred individuals have been involved. The objective has been to enhance the regional capacity for foresight, and ca 100 persons have increased their knowledge in foresights methods and environmental scanning. The participants are now implementing the new methods in their organisation´s strategic planning.
Expected long term effects
100 persons from 24 organisations have increased their knowledge in foresight methods and environmental scanning. A large bank of foresight methods and lectures is documented and published on Reglabs website. The participants are now implementing the new methods in the strategic planning of their organisations.
Approach and implementation
Region 2050 is a major initiative - 24 organisations and several hundred individuals have been involved. Different groups have been working in parallel: “Framsynsgruppen” (ca 80 persons) have met four times in large workshops, a managerial seminar have had six meetings, Reglabs annual conference have had foresight theme 2017-19, and there has been six depth seminars in analysis, change management and storytelling.
