Purpose and goal
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Food production accounts for almost 25% of the global climate footprint, it must be reduced. Regenerative agriculture improves the ecosystems that agriculture affects or depends on while maintaining high food production. The purpose of Regenerator is to put farmers at the center of a regenerative transition with a focus on the farm´s future conditions for economic, social, and environmental sustainability. We have reached our objective when alternatives to regenerative cultivation methods become unprofitable.
Expected effects and result
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** We will establish Regenerator and its three platforms. We will set up a structure with a core team and an extended core team. Based on existing system mapping of the food system, depth in our mapping, with a focus on the farmer. We will initiate innovation projects, drive communication, and increase cooperation both nationally and internationally. The goal is to increase knowledge about the benefits of regenerative agriculture, increase awareness in the value chain, and create new contact surfaces between actors in the industry.
Planned approach and implementation
On behalf of the food system, we create Regenerator - the market´s most adequate meeting place where we convert to a regenerative food system. 1. The innovation platform is the workshop where actors and innovations meet. 2. The communication platform makes available and spreads knowledge about a regenerative food system, including cultivation methods, technical solutions, and system changes. 3. The collaboration platform spreads knowledge nationally and internationally and creates meeting places with other industries we can learn from within the framework of our mission.
