Important results from the project
The project shall identify needs and requirements on a system which, based on Vertical Take Off and Landing Unmanned Aerial Systems (VTOL UAS), shall be capable of enhancing efficiency in crisis management and rescue operations. The APID 60 VTOL UAS can carry sensors delivering High Definition Video and IR imagery through out missions of several hours in severe weather conditions. The project shall document the requirements on a system which can be put on the market within 6 months after finish of the project. Verification and validation of the system is included in the project.
